Wow, busy day for pre-orders with Leffot and Epaulet both opening a few.

Congrats to all who got their name on one (many) of the lists.

Quick question for those more knowledgeable than I: What separates the Dover from a standard PTB?

Dover has single flex sole and is unlined.

I think the main difference is the pattern. I have seen Dovers lined and with various soles.

Dover, notice the stitching on the side.

990 PTB

PSA - this current drop seems to be a pretty good deal on the Woodlore Epic shoe trees:

Yes, the 990 is frequently referred to as a whole cut PTB where as the Dover is the more traditional approach to a PTB. The wholecut PTB is much harder to manufacture for obvious reasons.

Well just called Leffot and not looking good based on the number of non-stock requests. Real bummer and frustrating for someone relatively still new to the brand.

Don't have the time or interest in out competing folks for shoes I want, but congrats to those who got in.

Someone requested to see these, so I thought that I would share them here. They are from the recent ShoeMart Cigar LWB drop.

And the shoe of the day is the Snuff Suede LHS for a day at home out of work sick.

Anyone have any thoughts on putting a light coat of Montana PB on alpine grain boots. I suppose couldn't hurt, but never know. Just put some on my Alden Indy work shoes (aldens in my avatar) and looks pretty good.

Thanks, JT

Beautiful boots, congratulations!
The picture above makes me long for a mix of the boot to the left and the one to the right, i.e. a pair of Cigar Wingtip Boots. Has that been made recently? If anyone knows of any list for this makeup I would love a PM.

Anyone know of a good place to get Saphir Reno'mat where I don't have to pay for shipping (or reasonably priced shipping) on an order below $75? I really don't want to spend $75 on shoe care products today... Thanks!
