Time to dig in...

Cigar Indy Boot (all eyelets), Ravello CT Boot shaped to the Grant Last - both on commando sole, so I'll actually get some serious use out of them.  I had to compare to the recent Ravello Wingtip Boot...

More pics, but I'll spoiler below!

I love the look of the Grant last and I'm excited that it fits much better than a typical Barrie lasted boot.  The Trubalance last/indy boot is surprisingly the most comfortable last for me so far.  It fits extremely well, but just has an insanely large toe box.  The rest of the last is awesome.  They're definitely clunky and casual.  But I'm a huge fan!

Gorgeous @chrisefi! Where are those captoes from? Alden DC?

@chrisefi

Enjoy your new boots. They look great.

Ha! Good to see that I have my Palace Guard and A/C in check. I need to keep comfy from typing spc (programmed shortcut on my phone for close spoiler) and spo (open spoiler) all the time, plus I guess I occasionally brush some horse!

More seriously, I am early 30's and in Engineering Management (an electrical engineering who got "promoted" into management).

Thanks guys.  Yeah, the Ravello CT Boots are from DC.   They are a beautiful shade of Ravello from the run that just came in a month or so ago.  The Cigar Indy boots are from the recent TSM run that just sold out the last size or two a few days ago.

I'm thrilled to add these to the collection and can't wait to wear them!

22, college dropout. I own a small leather goods business and do contract design work throughout the fashion industry. I also have a hot doctor fiancé, so thats cool too. I only hope one day she will buy me a 911, so I can cruise around in my one pair of Aldens until I die.
But really, it took me forever to justify my boots and it made me really appreciative of them. The rest of my money goes back into business or Triumphs. More Aldens soon.

Sazon, will you train me as an understudy? When Mike is done changing out all of his older, improper fitting shells, maybe @MrDV will hire us. We may be able to sneak out a few of his also. I believe we are all the same size, or close to it. I could use a good job in SoCal; this cold is getting old!

What a Tuesday!
I really like the grant last too.
Are you sure those Indys aren't too wide? That huge toe box must be annoying rotflmao.gif

gotta hand it to Alden SF. I randomly noticed a stitching issue on my Indy 401s, which were only about 4 months old. Sent them back and they sent me a new pair, no questions. Pic of the issue:
