Pays extremely well, plus I lift a pair or two when he's not looking. He never notices.

Very nice.  I returned the Leffot version as I already had the Cap Toe in alpine grain and can't see getting enough wear out of such similar boots.

Are you thinking of this?:

Now with some Alden's for a more thorough color comparison. (L to R: Allen Edmonds Brown Shell Strands, Alden Cigar LWBs (Just Arrived!), AE Walnut Shell Strands, Alden Ravello LWBs, AE Natty Shell Strands, Alden Whiskey LWBs)

Thanks, bud. Looks good.  That cigar lwb looks dark.

I own a A/C & Heat company...it mainly owns me. I'm older than many on this forum. My kids help keep me young. I help keep Mdubs Palace comfortable year round. My man Mdubs works up a little sweat while doing his maintenance routine, which could impact the shine. Gotta keep him cool!

See Ya,
Steve

In a weird turn of events, two of my biggest "wants" in the boot world came in on the same day...

Time to dig in...

Cigar Indy Boot (all eyelets), Ravello CT Boot shaped to the Grant Last - both on commando sole, so I'll actually get some serious use out of them.  I had to compare to the recent Ravello Wingtip Boot...

More pics, but I'll spoiler below!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I love the look of the Grant last and I'm excited that it fits much better than a typical Barrie lasted boot.  The Trubalance last/indy boot is surprisingly the most comfortable last for me so far.  It fits extremely well, but just has an insanely large toe box.  The rest of the last is awesome.  They're definitely clunky and casual.  But I'm a huge fan!

That's why I ended up selling my unlined CXL Dovers. They started looking too worn too quickly. I still have both of my suede Dovers though.

My CXL Indys in the other hand aren't wearing in too badly at all. So maybe it does depend in the style of shoe it is when it comes to CXL.
