I know the Aberdeen last (loafers) is tricky for some people. I have a skinny heel and measure a 10C on the brannock. Does anyone size up 0.5 and go a width smaller?

In case anyone here is interested, I recently picked up the RL Marlow PTBs and I compare the sizing to Alden Barrie here:

Couldn't hurt to ask.  it may take a while to produce it.  It really is an excellent boot.

I like these A LOT!  Are they on commando?  That Leffot black grain, grant-lasted, cap toe on commando is calling my name!

Sweet bluchers my friend!  I really like these darker shades of whiskey; not quite ravello, but not too pale.

Quick poll for those interested in dress shoes for suits.  I have a wide variety of bluchers and wear suits from time to time (2-3 times per month).  I usually go with my 2145, color 8 medallion cap toe blucher, but have been wanting to snag a good pair of oxfords/bals to wear with suits, but not necessarily exclusively for suits.  Which of the following would you recommend for this role.  I do think I want to go with Black, but not necessarily shell.

9741 - Black shell (short)-wingtip balmoral (Tremont))

9071 - Black Shell cap toe bal  (Hampton)

9016 - Black Shell perforated cap toe bal (Hampton)

Alden on Madison's semibrogue Black Shell on Hampton (similar to AE's strand design - medallion cap toe bal)

I could be talked into color 8, or black calf, I suppose.  Or maybe I should just stick to bluchers and pick up something new and interesting.

Thanks in advance...

RTP, for me...if not to be worn exclusively with suits, that rules out all Balmorals.

Pick up a new and interesting blucher.
