I don't know if this is the standard, but I found that my cordovan tassels had to be sized down one WIDTH, not length. It was strange, as I am typically a hard D width. But, I was sized by the great folks at Alden DC, and sure enough, I was a C in the cordovan tassel.

Not a bad idea. I ordered the wrong size (accidentally) last time and was able to get the correct size by calling and having them shipped from a retail store.

If you enter the code for the Jcrew card, then input your zip code, you should be able to get the 30% off even if you use a non-Jcrew card during checkout.

I'm considering tassels or full-strap. I haven't tried an Aberdeen yet. Did you go tts on your calf tassels?

Ravello LWB with Argyles OTC. The perfect shoe for the beautiful Santa Barbara weather.

It was pretty low light in the morning at the hotel... Hard to get a stable shot. Thus no right shoe... :-(

I use a Nikon D90 with a 50mm f1.4 lens. I only use my iPhone when I do not have anything else available...

For the morning shots, I had to crank the ISO speed up to 1000 to get 1/30 sec shutter speed @ f2.8. I try and not open up more than 2.8 otherwise only 1 mm will be in focus and the rest will be a blur... It was quite dark in my hotel room at 6am!
