Clarks. I size down a full size with the Clarks desert boots compared to most other brands. I normally wear an 11.5/12 in most sneakers and I wear a 10.5 in the Clarks. I'm thinking an 11 in the Indy's. And do they typically have this stuff in stock or is it made to order and takes a while?

Not sure about other retailers, but Shoemart has the chromexcel in stock, I got mine in about a week. Alden in NY will ship as well, so the original and black 405s are readily available.

....but interesting.

It's amazing how much a different sole can change a boot.

Yeah, they generally look like any packer style boot--Whites, Chippewa, Double H...

They make the Aldens look like an elf's shoes.

Craft didn't have anything in a barrie 10, tried on a 9 (ya I know) and I think a 9.5 will work actually since I like my shoes a little snug. Will wait to actually try the 9.5 to see if I need to size up to a 10.
