+1

Hank Hill is the best animated straight everyman. Also I think he'd vote for Obama and if I remember correctly he hates Bush for his weak handshake.

What's so Texas-centric about KotH? I've watched for years and never felt like I was missing out. Maybe Ohio is close enough?

Apparently ABC might pick up KotH.

Same here. It's hard to find shows that are both hilarious and genuinely affective like that.

I have this feeling that twenty years from now I will catch King of the Hill on some late night television and find it some of the most brilliant TV ever. It's like that - very subtle. I often have these "Eureka!" moments where something strikes me and then everything else about it falls into place. The people and personalities of this show are way, way, waaayyy too similar to my childhood for me to fully appreciate right now, I guess.

It took me a while to start liking King of the Hill but it will be missed. I don't like Cleveland too much though. The Cleveland centric episodes are usually pretty weak. Also, American Dad has gotten better recently.

Cleveland is like a zero dimensional character. He's a sleaze, get it guys? LOL

Never got into KoTH, and I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

You're referring to Quagmire, not that it matters.

+1 You get so many shitty characters and role models on TV these days and then you have Hank Hill, who is all about being a decent person who isn't a complete pathetic fuckup ... and ... and ... and ... give me back my King of the Hill you sons of Bitches.
