I picked up three clothes brushes at a thrift store.  Two appear to be natural bristle (pigs?) with one of them embossed with the store name "Blauner's Women's Outfitters" at 9th and Market here in Philly.  It looks pretty old and is slightly more stiff than the smaller brush I've used for years.   The third brush is from Briton Brush Cov Ltd. and is embossed "Bristle, Fibre & Bone 1944"  It's stiffer, still than the Blauner's and the bone bristles are readily identifiable and comprise about 20% of the bristles.   Anyone know anything about bone bristles?  I'm concerned they may be too stiff for today's wool clothing. Back in the 1940's fabric was heavier.
