Inspired by the Target > Gap thread, I've decided to rank the mall stores from best to worst.

Uniqlo
Rugby
J.Crew
H&M
BR
A&F
Gap
Target
American Eagle
Old Navy
Express
Aeropostale
Club Monaco

Did I leave any major stores out? Is the order wrong? Discuss ...

I disagree with a number of things on this list, so I'll just post my pecking order.

Uniqlo

Rugby

J. Crew

Club Monaco

BR

Gap

Target

Old Navy

H&M

Express

A&F

Aeropostale

American Eagle

Club Monaco is actually cousins with the Ralph Lauren family, and if you've never bought their stuff, you're missing out. I recommend waiting for sales, but I just got three great, slim, quality OCBDs for $30 apiece.  My bottom three are, in my opinion, complete crap that cater only to teenybopping girls and high school jocks. A&F used to be a proud outdoor outfitter, but they've sunk to AE's level, in my opinion. H&M, I'm not sure why people are so high on them. If you're looking for something on trend, that's fine, but everything I ever bought from there disintegrated in less than a year. Cheap, but at the expense of quality.

For those of us who require tall sizes, J. Crew on sale is no contest.
