That really pissed me off, actually. Everyone that cares about the games lives in the Eastern time zone. Of course, it's all about advertising dollars. I was discussing this with my father-in-law during one of the games, and he thinks it's part of the reason why not as many kids play baseball anymore (he runs the local softball league). After all, when was the last time you stayed up to watch an entire series when your team wasn't involved? Kids certainly can't stay up that late. Maybe America's past time doesn't have such a bright future time.

Anyone at the parade today. It was insane, estimated ~1 million fans.

Yeah, couldn't see shit except for people's arms taking pictures of arms taking pictures. Couldn't tell who were players, no music or announcements. Just dudes on trucks.

Trying to get home on SEPTA regional rail in time to see my boy trick or treat was hellish. I managed to get home by 7, though, after an hour and a half wait in a really, really long line at Suburban Station.

I'm glad they won and all, but I couldn't fucking sleep for my 9:30 am midterm the next day because of my loud, drunk, obnoxious peers next door. Also, getting a R6 train from East Falls to Temple last night yesterday (Halloween) was a disaster. The 5:33 came at 6:25 and went sailing past the station. Ended up calling a cab and the split bill was more than a train ticket.

Congrats to Philly. they played extemely well. At least I can take solace in knowing my Dodgers lost to the World Series Champs.
