Pure Blue Japan - Official Thread - Page 37

Just wore a pair of 005s for the first time. Fucking love em. Granted it has only been a day. I bought them prior to really researching or looking through this thread. Most people size down one it seems, I got a 32 raw and I'm normally a 34. Waist was tight as was thighs, still so, but they seem to be loosening a bit. This is the last thing I need, a new denim obsession. Fuck. I want the deep indigo ones. And those black ones above. Fuck.

Yes, yes. PBJ makes great denim. Don't ever get those 32s wet or you'll never fit into them again.

I should have stated that I soaked em prior to wearing. Funny story actually. Soaked em. Put em outside to dry. Then it rained. Super soaked.

My PBJ 007s after 2 years, much more contrast in natural daylight I think.

He'll be fine if he's pretty skinny. PBJs run a little bit big in the waist anyway when raw, and they can stretch a ton.

Here's a pretty good representation of how they fit. Taken today. Bought (-1). PBJxx009. As I'd said earlier - a great change up from super-slim offerings. Can't pack your balls in there every day without a bit of relief every now and again.

Looks good! I sized up on 007s to get a similar fit.

After 4hours of hot soak Feel Kinda loose in the waist and crotch area. What do you guys think?

too big

This is a pair of 29s. Should I have gotten 28s? Anyway to save this pair of jeans?

The waist does look a bit big (especially in the first photo, but it could just be the angle). That's a pretty vicious taper though. I think they look fine besides that.

Try another really hot soak. Even though the first one was long, PBJs will usually shrink a bit more with another.
