PBJ jeans fade really nicely!!

I've had mine since December 2012, and as well as being much better quality than some of the other pairs I've bought at a higher price, they've aged really well, no repairs etc, great fading..

Looking forward to seeing your jeans again as they progress!smile.gifsmile.gif

The knees will give a little, keep in mind that is one of the primary stress points of your jeans. They will constantly be under stress and stretching every step you take, so they'll break in there and fit better with wear. It won't be drastic with a pair of jeans made this well, opposed to APC's for example that get that huge knee bulge, but they should give a little. Personally, I don't think the fit is all that bad, if your going for the slim/skinny look.

That's encouraging, thanks. I measured my APCs again and they have the exact same waist, thigh, and slightly lower rise compared to the PBJs. However I don't get thigh flare in the APCs. Is this because of the difference in fabric? PBJs are a lot softer. Or is this because of the difference in knee size? I feel like the narrow knees are making the thighs tighter than they should be.

I still think they're not your cut, and should sell them whilst they're new towards a more flattering pair:)

Its most likely the rise, the jeans are fitting differently on your body (not waist, but actual leg) so the measurements may be the same, but the parts of your legs are hitting these measurements in different places.

I agree!

Even if the top block fits, the thighs are way too tight - PBJ are known for slim thighs.

I'm sure Gordon at BiG could guide you to a better fitting pair:)

I got a new camera so I decided to play with it a bit.

Also decided to wash my xx-012. Probably a little early(75 days) but I needed to shrink them a bit before they faded too much. The white leaf is now blue

Some  before and afters.

That indigo on indigo creates amazing contrast with that electric blue starting to show through. Nice jeans. And next time you need to shrink them, just soak them in a hot bath for 45 minutes or so, with jeans of this quality, there will be little to no indigo loss in non stress areas, they will shrink and you wont have the agitation from the washer....a little late but just for future reference.
