yeah...okay. if you go +1 you can always do a hot wash and hot dry for like 15-20 minutes to get the +1 down a little bit. i know pbj's say not to wash but i wash/dry mine all the time. but honestly i think those will be fine... they will feel a little more pliable once you do a soak/wash

good pictures and fit imo...

That can be dangerous thinking with PBJs. I bought some 29s in the xx-013 expecting them to stretch back out after a soak and ended up having to sell them because of how uncomfortable the top block was. I'm now in 31s. My true waist is 32 by the way.

Tough to tell but it looks to me like you would be better off a size up. Do you have any extra room in the waist?

Sizing down 3 is dangerous thinking with just about any brand of denim, not just PBJs. However, with how much they stretch, you probably could have made them work if you had worn them longer.

Unless you are hot washing and then machine drying, PBJs don't shrink as much as advertised, at least not in the waist, from my experience. I would say that I got about an inch of shrinkage in the waist after a cold soak, a hot soak, a cold wash, and then a hot wash on my XX-013s.

This fit is good! I would not recommend sizing up. These will shrink about 1" in the waist with a cold soak and hang dry which should be perfect for you on the top block. They will stretch out to a perfect fit in the waist.

As for in the legs, they look great and will shrink a touch in the thighs and knees after soaking, not much if any every where else. If you are worried about them being too tight in the legs after a soak, then this cut probably is not for you. Sizing up may make them feel more comfortable in the legs if you prefer looser, but they will be too large in the waist. I would recommend keep them and enjoying them and be careful when soaking or exchanging for a different fit.

that was what i was originally thinking but then i took a look at how much they shrink...2" and .25-.5 everywhere else. but i totally agree, i think that raw fit looks perfect.

Cold soak in tub or bucket for 1 hour or less and hang dry. Wear them in the tube if you want the experience of wearing wet denim.
