Not mentioned yet: Blitzen Trapper - Furr Richard Swift - Ground Trouble Jaw EP Fleet Foxes - Self-titled Vampire Weekend - Self-titled '08 has been a pretty good year for the music world!

Some of it was produced by BabyStone, Sly Stone's very talented younger daughter's group. The first cut features Sly in fine voice.
