I think my feet are changing size - Page 2

Yes, keep in mind feet do swell (at least mine do).

When I worked for the government I used to have to do allot of hiking with a pack, and my feet would be swollen by the end of the day.

I pick boots/shoes which start out loose in the morning, that way by midday and night they fit tight.

If the condition is not just periodic swelling based on varying levels of physical activity, you might want to check with your family doctor. I have known two people, experiencing conditions seemingly identical to what are described in the OP and it turned out they both had developed diabetic conditions. Be safe...check with the medics, please!

I get regular physicals and see my doctors frequently due to the high amount of overseas travel to developing nations. All my labwork always comes back normal. I mostly just get overuse injuries.

I've found some information about the foot issue, and it does seem very common for people that engage in foot based endurance sports. The connective tissues in the foot seem to loosen up or stretch over time from the abuse, and let the foot bones spread out more.
