You can get a great view at the Hotel Intercontinental bar at night. Fantastic place to catch a few drinks before heading out on the town.

I can't believe I beat JesseJB to this! Please move this thread to www.skyscrapercity.com Seattle wins in height, density (core) and geography (visible mountains, visible water). We're both in Urban Planning/Urban Studies at UW.

The great thing about the Hong Kong skyline is it's easy to see. You can catch it from Kowloon or on the Star Ferry. It's not like other skylines where you have to see it from a special spot like a helicopter. It's pretty tough to catch the Tokyo skyline from the ground but I find there's a nice view at Odaiba.

Still one of the most stunning cities imaginable, especially by night: Farther south on the river:

Wow ... there are so great cities... I love it.

Here the skyline of a smaller city, but I love it, Vienna.

I like this city, because it´s so authentic and full of romance.

Do you ever been there?
