And wasn't Huntsman RTW a sort of Barney's house label for years (with much of the clothing being made in Italy)?
Barney's may have carried the brand exclusively, for all I know.  The stuff I saw always said "made in England."  I just assumed it was Chester Barrie.  I don't know, though.

The bottom line is it's a Chester Barrie, and thus should be of the highest RTW quality.

Actually the shoes were from a different thrift store entirely, a couple miles away. I haven't measured it out but I'm guessing it's a 42 long, since it fits my shoulders but is big around the waist and chest, and is a couple inches too long for me.

If I recall correctly, Huntsman used only CB for their RTW suits that were (are?) sold in their Savile Row shop. Jon.

Somewhere I read that Cantarelli may at one time have supplied Huntsman with RTW as well.

Measured it out, the jacket is 47" in the chest (23.5" across under shoulder measurement) and 32" from bottom of collar down. Sleeves are correspondingly long, but I couldn't remember how to measure them. Shoulders are 19" across. So I guess it's a... 45L? Probably sold as a 44L.

You don't recall correctly; I have 3 Huntsman/Chester Barrie RTW suits that were sold at Barney's in NYC. Also, Manton, I have a Chester Barrie for Burberry odd jacket (purchased in London) that has a wool & cashmere label similar to the wool & mohair label pictured here.  My guess, FWIW, is that this suit was sold at G&H in London.
