excuse my ignorance here, but when its a "private sale", do you have to be invited or if I just walk in, stuff will all be on sale?

Its private cause its not really advertised and sometimes SA's will not give it to you unless you ask.

How long does Barneys hold items for?

So basically I have to walk in, pick up something, and say "Hey I want the 40% sale price"? I don't want to be an ass, but I also don't want to have an SA become snooty on me.

How about Raf by Raf or Eastpack Raf bags? Is it going to be on sale?

Or you could just ask, "What is on the one day sale" And it depends on the SA. I've had things held for me for a week or more. I'm sure there are rules but they can all be broken.

I would guess no since Raf x FP is not on sale.
