Which part? All co-ops are involved, don't know about the brands. A friend of mine went to co-op yesterday and picked up a pair of Nudies, apparently the SA said they wouldn't be on sale. Maybe the SA was just being a jerk :P

went by a co-op today and yes, crate and naked and famous are on sale; they said all denim besides apc and rag&bone are included in the sale

are theory suits worth it at 40% off? was also gonna buy some super soft white barneys coop khakis at 66.... is coop brand good quality? not sure whats worth it though.

wow, wtf Barneys buys this year suck. I was trying really hard to find something I wanted at 40% off and couldn't find anything.

Good questions. I asked the SA/Asst. Manager about Theory and she was convinced that the cuts and quality are top notch. I'm not convinced. Everything seems to be made in China. There are some great mills and factories in China, but overall, I guess I have a general distrust of the quality and ethical accountability. IMHO it's hit or miss with regard to quality. But 40% is still a heckuva deal.

Co-Op brand, however, seems to be sourced from all over the world-- I've seen labels for some of their garments made in Italy, UK, etc. Not that that's the best measure of quality, but everything I've seen appears to be well-made. Personally, I only have some basics but I dig them. I also feel better about them for ethical reasons. Someone from Barney's is purchasing these goods from these makers, and I'm sure great care is taken to ensure their brand is represented well. I am assuming that there are better working conditions for the workers, etc., too.

Yeah, my Co-Op is a bit weak on selection, too. Apart from the Rag & Bone (which is not on sale) there wasn't too much that caught my eye. But the denim is the best deal going. I also put a nice flannel shirt by Gant away, but I agree with you 100 percent-- it's slim pickins this Monday.

Chicago is low on everything as far as shoes go, I did grab some JV boots retailer at $595 for $200 thanks to my favorite SA hooking it up with her employee discount! There is very little too choose from as far as the clothing goes, oh well the boots were all I wanted anyways...
