Ahh, good stuff. In my recent purge I finally parted with my beloved VHS copies of Stormy Weather and Sun Valley Serenade. I really hope these two get the HD criterion treatment re-release.

I was at Cab Calloway's 80th birthday party, which was held at Carnegie Hall.

He was about to sing Minnie the Moocher, and the entire sound system went out.

He performed then performed it with no amplification, a testimony to man and room.

Fun party afterwards, too.
