Yep. I love mine. Definitely second to my navy blazer(s). EDIT: Well, obviously mine is gray herringbone, but whatever. Herringbones are great.

Yours look great.

I seriously want to get rid of all my SF approved plaids and replace them with a hardy herringbone SC. Wear with everything from knit ties to jeans.

Already have a navy SC, so I will be set.

It's a pink Borrelli cashmere tie with green and brown (?) stripes. And thank you!

What is considered the most essential sportcoat purely for the summer season? I`ve got a ultra deep navy blazer, and a greyish tweed sportcoat but I´ve yet to figure out my first sportcoat for the summer. So far im thinking navy with some ligher windowpane or maybe a cream, but I cant make up my mind. 23 year old student btw, so looking for something to use for both social events and casual wear, when I feel like dressing up a bit.

What color pants do you favour for the summer? You could always do a second blue one, perhaps in cotton with white MOP buttons.

I have a cream and it rocks.

Daytime: Pair with a sky blue oxford button down, chinos and suede chukkas.

Either of those would be a good choice. Try to get it half or quarter lined.

My top sport coats are: Brown Corduroy Black and White Houndstooth For summer: Navy linen (not a blazer)

I think my most versatile sportcoat is a charcoal birdseye with a thin blue windowpane, because it can be worn anywhere and at any time of the day. The next most versatile is probably a grey or brown herringbone.

that charcoal birdseye blue windowpane jacket sounds great... deets please??

I really like the idea of a cream SC for the summer, im just scared to death of getting stains on it.
