I doubt who ever buys it would move it frequently. Their cleaning service would probably have a vacuum with decent attachments to clean around tough spots.

Do you guys know why one of them is almost 1000 dollars more than the other?

Also, what are some good materials I should check out for buying credenzas or just furnitures in general online?

I'm having a hard time coming up with a serious response to this.

Most likely because they're offered by different dealers in different locations (one of them is in Pennsylvania, the other in California) so different pricing. It's the same with eBay and other sites - sometimes you will see considerable price discrepancy between very similar/identical items because different sellers assign different values to their products, based on what they believe the market will bear.

Instead of a daybed I might also settle for a tete a tete in leather.

Has anyone used these folks? http://jaxonhome.com/

The seller replied back wtih 'Good question! Our credenza has been completely refinished at a cost of about $1500, so the condition on our piece is flawless.' Is that justifiable?

One thing you should know that this piece of furniture is unremarkable and a fair value for this would be between 600 & 800 USD

P.S.

This could mean 2 things, it was ruined by stripping it of all original finish and then coated with some modern synthetic mess or it was lovingly restored by professional conservator using original or similar materials. I tend to suspect the first. I have seen it too often in US , antique items restored to brand new status, stripped of all patina or signs of use.

Saw this table. The legs make me hibbelty jibbelty but I figure they might sort of go with the chair legs.

Table is nice. Recliner not so much. Sorry not a fran.

The best kind of comfy too as it's comfy due to the form of the chair vs. a foot of padding.

Yes, yes. Fine. But what is the resale value?

Furniture surrounding the recliner makes me want to fly a plane into that store.
