I'm with FG. A built-in vise seems like a minimally useful PITA. And a cleanup/sanitation nightmare.

good point! and a wooden vise would be absolutely the worst!

while i'm cracking on that kitchen (do like the shape of the butcherblock, though), the rubber front may look nice, but have you ever tried to wipe grease off of rubber?

haha, i was thinking of some nouveu riche bro who has taken to gaudy knick knacks and and home brew kits and "man caves" and other useless ****, but now we have a second and legitimate contender here. well done.

No use for the vise or the rubber-coated cabinets or the white range hood or its attachment to the ceiling, but the shape of the butcher block is pretty ******* awesome.
