Thanks for all the good advice. I think my issue with the Prouve is that it doesnt have a shade and it feels naked to me without one (there is some sort of bush joke to be made here). Going to go to Flos in Soho and see if anything appeals to me there.
there's the Jacobsen light or Tolomeo light for something that is well known and safe. Just in case the horse is too expensive to ship.
What do you guys think of these chairs? They apparently came from my great-grandfather. I have no idea what I would do with them but I would need to have the wood fixed somehow (they can barely take any weight) and could also have them upholstered.
I grew up with some little kid-sized aalto stools (and matching table) so I've had a soft spot for them since before I knew what they were.
Not sure how I feel about that one though. It looks sweet as an art piece, but I probably wouldn't want it (I don't even like the ones with solid color tops...birch FTW).
