Anyone have thoughts on the smoked oak vs palisander w/ black doors sideboards?

there's the Jacobsen light or Tolomeo light for something that is well known and safe. Just in case the horse is too expensive to ship.

Kaplan,

Up to you, they are both very similar in how they work. I like the palisander myself, but I've always enjoyed the look of rosewoods over other woods.

The large Tolomeo is intriguing as well. A little less interesting than the Prouve but definitely safer.

What do you guys think of these chairs? They apparently came from my great-grandfather. I have no idea what I would do with them but I would need to have the wood fixed somehow (they can barely take any weight) and could also have them upholstered.

Prouve is better, just use a frosted globe style bulb.

Not sure what I would do with those chairs.

Some humidors/jewelry boxes I'm building, currently at the finisher. First two are Macassar ebony, last one is rosewood (jewelry box).

I grew up with some little kid-sized aalto stools (and matching table) so I've had a soft spot for them since before I knew what they were.

Not sure how I feel about that one though. It looks sweet as an art piece, but I probably wouldn't want it (I don't even like the ones with solid color tops...birch FTW).
