I'm not sure which is worse, this latest Pesce sofa or his "New York sunset" one from the '80s:
Pesce started out strong in the '60s and soon went downhill from there, IMO.

There's been a recent trend, or at least here in the Nortwest, of reclaiming old and vintage wood pieces for use in furniture. I like a lot of it.
