I was going to say, those are enormous walnut burl veneers. I can't imagine what they cost.

I will use the wire table in the tall center space of my Swedish teak wall unit, where the ceramic bottle and petrified wood are. I have been having a hard time filling that space, and need something even taller in there.

That's a great piece! It will be an excellent use of the wire table.

I have a source for veneers that gets all sort of wild stuff. The Macassar ebony flitches for instance were all 6-8" wide, when I source that in 4/4 lumber I'm lucky to find it 4-5" wide.

I'm Australian and this guy is a fucking disgrace to me and my Country.

I hate people that have to explain and elaborate on their work, the more you have to convince me about your product the less worthwhile the product is.

 

The Guy is from Byron Bay, if you know anything about the place it is full of "tree-hugging" millionaires who want to have a quiet life after making millions in the city for 30 years, bunch of fucking hypocrite assholes.

Wellll, I stayed up late reassembling the McCobb table, only to realize that the last coat of Waterlox wasn't entirely even. That's what I get for working in a dark shed. Guess I'll close off a room in the house tomorrow and do one last coat
