I'm quite tall with 6 feet 4" , and i'm sitting in the eames as we speak. The only thing i dont like is when i spend more than 4 hours a day in it (it happens with a lot of work related reading) my shoulders get hunched? over.

Ahh, just found this thread. I recently bought a small house built in 1953, and realized that none of my furniture fits the house. So, I'm in the process of slowly replacing it all with MCM teak furniture. I've found that the local city's classifieds are a gold mine, and just today picked up an extending leaf dining table. Next up, four chairs to go with it....

Be careful. A few pieces are well and good, but it's easy to make a house that looks like it was torn from the pages of DWR.

Oh, I know... I was looking at a MCM book in the library today, and nearly threw up in my mouth a few times. I'll probably wind up with a dining table and 4-6 chairs and a couple lounge chairs in teak, and some kind of low sofa. So far, I have found the dining table and chairs, all vintage from Denmark.

Thinking of pairing with modern Peices such as an Eames management chair and I'd probably build a credenza.

I purchased a Louis XVI chair recently that looks something like that:

Very elegant lines.
