Ahh, just found this thread. I recently bought a small house built in 1953, and realized that none of my furniture fits the house. So, I'm in the process of slowly replacing it all with MCM teak furniture. I've found that the local city's classifieds are a gold mine, and just today picked up an extending leaf dining table. Next up, four chairs to go with it....

Be careful. A few pieces are well and good, but it's easy to make a house that looks like it was torn from the pages of DWR.

Oh, I know... I was looking at a MCM book in the library today, and nearly threw up in my mouth a few times. I'll probably wind up with a dining table and 4-6 chairs and a couple lounge chairs in teak, and some kind of low sofa. So far, I have found the dining table and chairs, all vintage from Denmark.
