I'm surprised Smedley's outlet webstore hasn't been mentioned yet. JS is my all-time favourite from the many knitwear makers I've tried: smooth, soft wool in bright colours, mostly slimmer fits and no damn logos. I've never had any jumper billow, tear or fray with wear.

wearing my JS black turtle neck lovely

I am wearing my JS shirt too....:) -right now...

... I must admit i am loving the sensation of material. I would describe it as a "iron made spider web" -looks delicate but firm as steel.

Having just recently bought item via JS outlet in order to test wear it- awkward body shape in general-so test wear is a must....

Size L item Shirt L/S:

bit tight around shoulder arm pit area

bit tight around neck

front length bit shorter for my taste

After first wash 40C, cotton setting and being dried on suit hanger fits Perfectly...-very happy and considering future purchase....

I think i am developing a certain aspiration to make JS as my firm choice for weekend wear.....

Any experience with the Bobby V-neck?  true to size?

I found Smedly to be a very nice brand, I really like the colors. This is effort to try to resurrect this thread

Has anyone owned any Smedley knitwear that is 70% cashmere 30% silk? Or any knitwear for that matter. Very tempted by the orton, but have no idea of how such a blend will wear over time. And obviously a lot of money for something to be worn for  just a year or two.

Kabbaz is right because Smedley Sea Island quality gets holes.

I really like the Belvoir, I bought two of thenm last year. So far, the quality is good but I think is not on par with the price. The colors are really nice though
