Ebay shoes - Page 2

I have examined Harris shoes for about 30 minutes or so. I only briefly remember the Ferragamo Tramezzas -- I saw them for about two minutes at Mitchell's of Westport. Going by my memory only, I think that the Tramezza leather is probably of equal quality to the Harris's but with more elegant finishing. In terms of the styling, I felt like the Tramezzas were really great -- much better than Harris. Do you want to pay an extra $200 for that? That's up to you.

BTW, I find the Harris laceups to be about the same size wise as Alden. I expected them to run narrow and short because they are Italian, but they don't.

Agree with you about the styling of the Tramezzas vs. Harris (and feel the same about Tramezzas vs. Alden), based on pictures only. Beginning to talk myself into the extra $200. "If I really like them, I'll wear them more..." Classic loafer (Harris), which I need, versus the styling (Ferragamo). Hmmm.... Thanks also for your input on sizing, hope it's also true for Harris loafers. Any experience?
