Time for a proper CL thread. Thoughts, predictions, analysis, gloating & rants....

Inter (who I don't like) seems to be the only Italian team with a deep enough bench to mount a serious challenge this year.

I think its a safe bet there'll be at least one English team in the final. Chelsea under Scolari have been romping to big wins so far and would be my current favourite. Personally I'd like to see any team from outside England, Spain, Italy or Germany win it, though I think the spending power of the premier league has too heavily tilted the balance towards an English winner.

How about the surprise teams? For me it's CFR Cluj and Anorthosis. BATE have a shot as well, with Juve struggling.

Good result for Juventus. Del Piero is still one of the game's finest players.

Not a bad result for the gooners today

Good result, but we're lucky Guiza couldn't convert his chances. Silvestre is not cutting it.
