Initial Impressions
I ordered Taylor Stitch's 10 oz indigo Cone Mills Flatout shirt (http://taylorstitch.com/products/indigo-cone-flatout).
The denim shirts come in three colors:

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it.
It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality.
If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...
I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected.
I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker.
A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...
I am a thin build girl with skinny hip and bums, I normally wear a size 25 in Paige denim, and thought I give the selvedge raw a try. The 24 of New Standard is too bulky in the high waist leg,...
The Tina Fey Palin impression is very good but not funny. The 2-3 skits where she impersonated Palin where sub-par at best. It baffles me how everyone is raving about how funny the skits are. The impression reminds me of the lardo Frank Calliendo, his impressions are spot on but not funny in the least. However the shitty Palin skits pairs well with the rest of the show. The best writers have to be on the Colbert Report by far.
I don't get the SNL hate. I think it's been funnier lately than it has been in years. Amy Poehler is one of the best female cast members the show's ever had.
For the folks who think it's gone downhill, what era do you think was better?

It is hard to to say just one era or cast. I think anything between 1990-2000 is some of the best SNL. If Jimmy Fallon jumped off a bridge in 2000 I could have thrown in a few more years.

I'll second that. She is hilarious, and was great in the Palin rap.

Late 80s-Mid 90s. Guaranteed to have me in tears by 1am.
I've watched a lot of SNL -- admittedly, a big chunk was long after it originally aired -- and I'd say '86 to about '90 was the best run in the show's history. Much of the stuff since then has been pretty dire. Can't stand Will Ferrell, for example. But I agree with chorse that the current cast is great. I'd put them second only to Carvey, Hartman et al.
Most of the cast is excellent (Poehler and Hader especially), but the writing just isn't up to par. The Daily Show and Colbert have superior writing (ofcourse, one might say that what they do is a bit easier, as the jokes seem to write themselves recently).
SNL tends to have like one great sketch per episode, a few that are kinda funny and the rest tend to be more or less embarassing.
