I've had it pretty much my entire life... eventually you stop noticing it... but of course when going into a quite room, going to bed, it's always there.

There's no effective treatment or cure, I'm afraid.

Ginko. It works. Seriously. You'll notice the improvement in about a week. It'll turn the volume down. You have to take it every day to maintain the benefits.

Found a store that has a lot in Montreal. Will go buy some soon
I also found some herbs drinks that have ginko.

stress does make it worse ... it's the grinding of your jaw that seems to aggravate it.
