Thoughts?

Hopkins has always been one of my favourite fighters, but i don't know what his chances are here. He look tired in the later rounds against Calzaghe, Pavlik didn't seem to tire at all against Taylor. I see Hopkins wrapping him up alot, throwing lots of punches in clinches. If he drops his hands once on the outside Pavlik will land that right hand and it'll be all over.

I'm going to say Pavlik by decision. Hopkins' defence will get him through the fight, but he'll tire towards the end and won't be able to do enough for the win.

I hate this fight because I like both these guys. Bernard Hopkins is a smart, funny guy who has completely dominated his division for years and Kelly Pavlik is a good, fresh face with aggression out the wazoo. I don't even want to pick a winner but I do think it will be a great fight.

a great fight? with hopkins? those words dont go together. pavlik's long reach may be able to stop bernard from coming in. but who knows. most likely a boring fight, with pavlik trying to knock hopkins out while hopkins grabs etc and ensures nothing happens.

i may pay for this cause i hate bernard hopkins and would like to see him knocked out unlikely as it is.

Wow. Did not expect Hopkins to put in a performance of that calbire. Was quick & accurate, Pavlik's defence was poor and didn't seem to have any answers. Looked like the Hopkins from 10 years ago.
