The Boston Massacre!

I love it. If ever a sports "nation" needed humbling, it's the Red Sox Nation. Beaten by a team that had one of the worst records in baseball last season. Suck it Boston, suck it long and suck it hard. And FWIW, I had season tickets for four years. Even when we sucked, it was a great time. No lines, cheap beer, and room to spread out. It beat sitting in a smoky bar on Friday nights.

Shouldn't you be busy crushing beer cans on your forehead and yelling obscenities at random dumpsters about now. F*cking Red Sox Nation. . .

Man... Win, win, win. It was a great game to watch. Forget today's game, though. How much better will it be to see Boston lose game 7?

Small consolation right now.

Hey, at least you still have the Pats loss this weekend to look forward to.

If I had money on the Rays that game I would be going out of my mind...

In fifth grade I dressed up as Crispus Attucks.

I only opened this thread because I expected a lament about Louis Boston. Really, we have real sports going on right now, at the collegiate and professional levels. Every Saturday and Sunday, most Thursdays.

Ugh. Lets hope the Rays finish their business at home.

"You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the damn plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all."

-Earl Weaver
