In that lighting, they almost look like patent leather.

Where can I buy AF60s in Cordovan #8? I've seen pictures but they aren't on the Carmel site. I've emailed them, but maybe I'll get a quicker response here.

I don't think I've ever seen any #8 cordovan cap-toe boots on the plaza last, though it might be worth calling some of the other major Alden retailers to see if they've ever had something like that made for them.

siggh, I'm actually coveting them pretty bad. Look at the carmel site, I was going to grab the af43s, but i saw this picture and my jaw dropped

I've never seen such an item either. Though I think if someone were to make one, it would be quite popular. Perhaps we could convince a retailer (err maybe Tom) to do a group order? I'm already waiting for a pair of the 4060, but I'd definitely put money down for a cap-toe boot in #8 on a Plaza last.

Aw damnit, I need a size 8 1/2, width B. Well width B is kinda snug on me, with the Alden Cordovan Captoes. 2160, I think off the top of my head. I wonder how well 8 1/2 width D would be on me... really, really, really wanna pull the trigger.
