Hello Folks, always nice to find out people are talking about our shoes online. We were recently referred to this website by a customer who had bought a pair of our Irish Brogues after hearing about them here.

I just wanted to update everyone on how Ireland's only shoemakers is doing. We are currently extending out range of premade footwear to include a range of traditional boots and country brogues, these will sit nicely alongside the Andrew Jackson and Chester A Arthur currently avaliable http://www.robinsonsshoes.com/p0/rob...brogues/77.htm

Our bespoke handmade service is going from strength to strength even in these times of austerity. We are very proud to have Tony Slinger as one of our expert shoemakers, Tony has previously worked as a boot maker for the Queen's Household Cavalry and his experience as a bespoke shoemaker is second to none.

We always welcome feedback and advice on our website and styles so please feel free to contact us directly or reply to this message with any thoughts.

I'm looking at these beauties from Robinson's.

I'll report back with a review if I end up finding a size that fits my 13US flippers.

Avaliable up to size 13 F, G or H (UK). We will make bigger if needed.

If you are in any doubt of size send us through your foot measurements and we will match it to the exact size, width and last.

Also if you are ordering don't forget to mention what you want embroidered on the shoe bags.

thanks
John

This sounds very promising. When you say, "traditional boots", do you mean formal balmoral boots?

Just wondering,

Geoff

I just ordered a pair of the Andrew Jackson's in peat pictured above. Robinson's helped me out quite a bit on the sizing so I've been quite impressed with their customer service.

Not to mention you get personalized dust bags, a shoe horn and appropriate polish with your order!

I'm anxious to see the quality since is the first line under their Presidential Collection.

If the quality is there, I will be looking for some country boots as their prices, customer service and turn around time for delivery is much better than some of the English (C&J) and US (Alden) makers right now. I simply can't be waiting 14 weeks for a turn around on non-bespoke shoes!!

Just an update to everyone who is interested, we are currently doing a St Patrick's Day promotion on our Irish Brogues with 35% off the RRP. This is the one and only time we are doing this and marks the beginning of the launch of our brand new extended range.

See the site for more details.

Thanks

This is a great deal. I ordered a pair of The Andrew Jackson and I must say they are a great made shoe for the price (especially the price being offered right now!).

Anyways, excellent service and I would highly recommend trying their shoes.

One thing to note- I would be careful with the siding. Email them and they'll ask for your foot measurements to ensure you get the right sizing. I find the heel to be quite roomy but my slight heel slippage improved drastically once they broke in (as they are double-soled).

The shoes look lovely. Do they take online international orders?
