Chris, we have seriously to check the Porsche reference. There's no mention on any German source and I had a long talk with an owner(inspired by Labelking). O-ton: I bought a Mercedes. I wouldn't have bought it, if it would have been built by Porsche. I love Porsche, but I want my Benz pure.

After production of 500Es had run its course, Porsche switched to making this mental family wagon on their freed up Zuffenhausen assembly line

The (old) SL65 or SL600 Brabus V12s were so much cooler though. TopGear had one on the track and its performance was less than stellar -- too much torque, too hard to get it to the ground.
