Is this a pretty small genre? The only one I can think of is The West Wing. What are some others?

There are a few British shows about politics. Yes (Prime) Minister and House of Cards being two obvious examples.

House of Cards (the first episode) is one of the best things I have ever seen. Masterpiece for sure. I only watched half of the second one. It wasn't bad, but just not up to the standards of the first. I will finish ep. 2 and ep. 3 someday.
