I'm not getting silly, this server is unstable and I am tired of dealing with it. If I hadn't set the forum to require approval of new registrations, I would have had a lot more than 10. It's just extra bloat in my database. I wasn't the one who suggested legal actions. I was just clarifying for you, because it sounded like you didn't know, that there are legal remedies available if someone kept trying to register/use the board after being asked to stop. I haven't even asked you to stop yet, so there is nothing to worry about in your case. The worst an invading rube would probably face is being kicked off his ISP if he were being really persistent and irritating, and if we wanted to go to all the trouble, Washington has a $500 per instance penalty for unauthorized use of resources (mainly for spam email, but it applies). Just something to keep in mind for future invasions. Try not to beat on the little guys, stick to the boards with big servers and big sponsors like Clear Channel. Shurdaddy: did you ask a question that didn't get answered, or get an 'elitist' response? Just wondering, I know I get that feeling around here at times. I wouldn't want to see someone get turned off so quickly and leave pissed off.

Not to fuel this flame, because as far as saboteurs go, these guys are pretty easy going. But wasn't the invasion and disruption of internet boards last popular (or funny, depending on how you look at it) or in vogue about 5 years ago?
It was last popular with me when I was about 16 years old and wasn't the one paying for it.

Their Super Administrators J has been lurking like a rube. (reading up over at our site) why don't you join our board, then you can help us find these other clear channel boards for us to invade?

Man, I have enough to do, but thanks for the invitation. I know KVI talk radio in Seattle is a Clear Channel station, and they irritate me, maybe you could go mess with their house. Edit: uh, not that I'm, you know, condoning that kind of behavior.

I am a young(er) guy who has to wear a suit once in a while at my office, but an average day is shirt and tie. After reviewing many of the posts on the site, I realized most of the clothing being discussed here is very, very high end. The elitist comment was based on alot of the bashing of certain brands such as Kenneth Cole, Thomas Pink, Polo and other brands that are in my closet.

Yeah, try not to take it personally. I have KC and Polo in my closet too. Just remember: you are not your f'n khakis.

While much of the discussion centers on "High End" merchandise the focus is more Quality issues than simply name brands and Dollar price tags. Thats why you will see many talking about ebay or discounters, and not paying retail prices. The "bashing" is more of an educating nature than bashing for no reason. Stick around, if you have to dress a certain way for business you might enjoy and learn from this forum.

Don't worry - there are a lot of us on here with very similar closets. As you've come from a sports talk board, I'll use a sports analogy. If you want to get better at a sport, you have to play against someone who's better than you are. In the case of this forum, I learn a lot from people who buy brands that I would never have considered (or be able to afford) and often that knowledge helps me to better choose things in my own price range and to recognize good deals that I might have missed otherwise. Keep reading this site though and you can learn how to get top-notch brands for very reasonable prices. I know there have been a good number of us who have gotten $2500 suits for under $100.
