Thanks Chris, I'll keep an eye out. Brussles is a possiblity for President's Day weekend. I think my gf needs a trip that's more food-and-drink based than mens' clothing--we usually strike a pretty good balance (in my mind at least) but Milan last month might have tipped a bit too far... Tom

Especially in the summer time. My favorite times in Europe have been in small towns along the Mosel and Rhine with a few bottles of wine and a few friends just watching little fests develop around us in the town square. Germans are wonderful about upkeep on old buildings; there's nothing like sitting under grape vines crawling along perfect half-timbered houses lined with vibrant window boxes and frescoes. There are different types of Ghirardelli; in the types with higher percentages of cocoa the flavor is much more pronounced and pleasant. I wouldn't call it great chocolate but it isn't bland.

I love Brussles, such good food, in my opine, good beer, and even good people, I prefer Bruge for a nice trip down the canal in the summer, and the food....what more to say...looking forward to my time in Germany this year, have not been there in a while...Berlin will be fun in late summer.
