As to avoid a whole drug discussion here, I think I'll move right into RLPL: H. Huntsman & Sons decided a few years back that they would retail RTW clothing. And whom did the most expensive suit maker on Savile Row choose? That's right, none other than Chester Barrie. In fact most CB items were manufactured much in the same style as bespoke garments, but simply on a larger scale and to standard sizes. Everything was still made in the same manner as is practiced by every other reputable tailor on the Row. CB's atelier probably looks (er, with all the receiverships that might read better as "˜looked') very similar to that of Borrelli or Kiton. That said the price you paid for the garment is worth it in my opinion, especially since it is no longer made (i.e. harder to find) and I would be hard pressed to find another RTW English suit of the same quality standards for the same price you paid.
