how come i come in when all the posts are already edited? i don't really find offense at the hot women comment, am i missing something? i do think the lax drug laws are the best part of amsterdam (although many other countries, holland and luxemborg [i think] have legalized pot). the nudie jeans prices are pretty good there too.

As to avoid a whole drug discussion here, I think I'll move right into RLPL: H. Huntsman & Sons decided a few years back that they would retail RTW clothing. And whom did the most expensive suit maker on Savile Row choose? That's right, none other than Chester Barrie. In fact most CB items were manufactured much in the same style as bespoke garments, but simply on a larger scale and to standard sizes. Everything was still made in the same manner as is practiced by every other reputable tailor on the Row. CB's atelier probably looks (er, with all the receiverships that might read better as "Ëślooked') very similar to that of Borrelli or Kiton. That said the price you paid for the garment is worth it in my opinion, especially since it is no longer made (i.e. harder to find) and I would be hard pressed to find another RTW English suit of the same quality standards for the same price you paid. Jon.

Isn't Amsterdam the capital of Holland/Netherlands?
Holland is a part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, of which Amsterdam is the Capital and Den Haag is the Seat of Govt or something. Anyways, even though I live in this great city, capitals and kingdoms is of less interest to me than the bigger question.. Which Ralph Lauren shop in Amsterdam??? I know of only two places that would sell any substantial amount of RL, Oger and that place on the Kalverstraat. Is it one of those two or is there another RL shop in town? K

Its the one in the PC, owned bye OGER. I was there yesterday and the new collection arrived.

Doh, so does that means that the sale is over? BTW, excellent price on the RLPL suit. Especially since last time I looked, Oger was selling the RL Polo (Corneliani) suits for about 850 Euros on sale... Luckily I got mine from Polo.com sale for about 360 euros, but I wouldn't mind a Purple Label suit also. K
