I believe the younger you start on developing your own style is the better you"ll look when you get older. So my question is at what age did you start building your own style and how did it evolve.

When I first started buying my own clothes. Some time in my late '20s.

At 19 I find I am finely starting to get a sense of personal style - though I'm sure it will change as dramatically (hopefully for the better) over the next decade as much as it did the past one.

^ I hope you are joking about not buying your own clothes till your late 20s. Ive been buying my clothes since like 14.

I've gone through a lot of different styles, which changed along with my interests in different music and culture. I was probably about 20 when I found a consistent style I felt comfortable in. But back then my wardrobe consisted mostly of what most here would call amjack. Now that I'm a little older (26) my tastes have changed and I'm trying to develop a modern but sophisticated style, using more timeless-styled clothes. Who knows, maybe my taste in clothes will change again in 5-6 years.

I'm definitely still developing. I'll probably look different a year from now.

Im seventeen, and my style is still developing, which makes me hesitant to drop cash on major pieces.

I'm starting to find my own style, but not having a job is a major factor in not being able to buy what I want.
