Second attempt on Frittata..

Spaghetti Carbonara this eve

Edit: Had some bacon left (unfortunately I wasn't able to get Pancetta today...) so I made some cream-white wine-bacon-parsley-Ciabatta-Parmiggiano-mix. Good dessert...

yesterday went strawberry picking. today for dinner - strawberry rissotto, chicken stir fried in a spicy and sour strawberry sauce, strawberries in fresh home whipped cream.

Homemade Chicken Chili ( I was a guest, so no pictures ).

It was good but chicken was used because the host is on a healthy weight reduction kick. And chicken chili is much better for this than classic greasy Texas Beef Chili ( though perhaps not as tasty ).

Venison Chili might be a good alternative but that will be next time.

Texas fruit was the dessert ( peaches, and cherries ) and were excellent. I do not think people are as aware of the best Texas fruits as those of California and Oregon. But they are surprisingly good.

just got back from Bouchon; now I go sleep off some jet lag. Sitting behind me eating tonight was Gray Davis, and then Maria Shriver came in with her girl posse and sat at the table next to him. haha. edit: pic - could barely keep my eyes open today because I've been drinking champagne for 16 hrs

There actually is quite a lot in it, but I have to admit I added some more after taking the pic.
