They do look pretty well marbled, so glad to hear it worked out. I may need to try it some time.

I was aking my GF about that last night and that's what she said...they didn't dry out and become tough because they had just enough fat.

I love short ribs but I usually cook those big thick-cut ones low and slow. I'm sure those were tasty anyways.

They pretty much were low and slow...used water to keep flames and temps down...and they cooked for about half hour to forty-five minutes from start to finish...last ten on warming shelf with lid closed. And they were succulant

It was an idontknowwhattomakeofthis face. Slight gross, but strangely appealing as a drunken food.

Went to a local Italian joint. I thought I was gonna get shot at for looking at somebody funny. All the old boys were in tonight to celebrate somebody's bday. But man, the food was untouchable! The fried calamari must've had magic dust on it. The shrimp fra diavolo, fugeddabouit. My gf had the eggplant piarmigiana--now, I'm not a eggplan piarmigiana kinda guy, but I'd eat this everyday. Heck, even the house wine was good. We were offered carvel ice-cream-and-cake from the bday party; what nice people.

In any case, we barely finished half of our dishes. More for lunch/dinner tomorrow.
