Very nice production and gets a bit into Passard's background and what inspires him but its a bit heavy handed. There are two people on the episode that sing his praises, forget who they were, but one is a guy and he looks like he is about to creme fraiche his pants at one point. He is talking about how Passard is a mad genius, something along the lines of "one time Alain wanted to put coarse salt on a dish, so he set the dish down on the table, stepped a few feet away from it and threw the salt at the dish!!!"
Also mid way through Alain goes into this odd diatribe about how cooking is about "hand gestures"
His story and cooking abilities (and Aperge) are riveting enough a narrative that they don't need to add BS filler but other than that, I enjoyed it thoroughly.
