Sadly no pics but I just found a butcher opened up a few blocks away and they specialize in local grass fed meats. To start we ate some cheddar and green onion burgers (made with high temp cheddar that doesnt melt into oblivion) and oktoberfest sausages (stuffed with pork, dussledorf mustard, and sauerkraut). Was real good. Looking forward to trying their Berkshire pork and some interesting cuts of steak.

Market bought goats cheese and pesto ravioli with a reduced cream with parsley and garlic sauce and a mixed green salad. With fresh strawberries and thick cream.

Yes

Figured I'd ask here for recs on a chamber vac. Our current traditional sealer is starting to sound like it's dying so figure we might as well take the plunge. Can they hold large items or will I still need a traditional sealer?

Truffle and mushroom risotto with a bitter green salad washed down with a 2012 Yarra Valley The Parish Pinot Noir. Followed by a lemon delicious made with lemons off our lemon tree.

Rotisserie garlic studded leg of lamb, roasted red potatoes and fennel, grilled a couple zucchini from the garden. Just started messing around with the rotisserie on my grill - it is awesome. I love how easy it is to get good browning.

I made Steak Diane, which is like 50 years "out of date" but I loved it. Also Pommes Pont Neuf, but I didn't crisp them enough.

Nice^. Was that soup in the other thread made of zucchini? My dad has a shitton of them. Any unusual recipes that use up a lot of zucchini?

Yes. It is zucchini, fresh garlic and mint. The zucchini and garlic are sweated in olive oil, then simmered in almond milk and blended with some mint leaves. Super simple and extremely delicious.

Are you on Instagram? I post there more regularly these days. My name is maxmax325 smile.gif

I always love zucchini cakes.  Just shredded zucchini, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, etc pan fried.  My secret ingredient is fried onion pieces.  Doesnt take up a whole lot of zucchini but it tastes real good
