Is that your band?

No, no, no.

I feel you have lost the good groove you were in a few weeks back. The crab looks a little cat foody to me, the scallops don't have anything about them that looks tasty and the fish looks well cooked, but everything with it looks nasty. It's easy to get turned around cooking as much as you do, but right now it seems as though you have lost the plot.

Meh. I was happy with the flavors in the last dish...but maybe I am forcing it. I'll be eating out more and cooking less soon. I've found stepping away and then coming back usually helps the process.

Went to a Sukkot party yesterday. Enjoyed many pickled things, many mashed up and roasted things, breads, chicken that had been herbed in layers and wrapped around a spit and then raosted, and a grip of cookies, dates, figs and some tea. It was all very good.

I want my honorary EYamaka now.

There's a lot of history here but, in short, he is good but scattered and untrained. We are just trying to help him focus.

it occurs to me that double-m reminds me a lot of tibor in waywrn. there's something costume-y and oddly age-inappropriate about what he does, but he does a pretty good job of it, and it obviously makes him happy.

lol. I have been dying for an age-inappropriate example jpeg from MC, got any links? Those guys are all 22 and act like they're on the management track circa 1935 so they need the clothes to match. I need an example with a guy in a fedora preferably.
