I noticed the L'Ambroisie recipe calling for it, but I was really talking about Frechon's book- it's called for a few times, and a focal point of the Cod dish I was considering making.

In that case, I think they're called finger limes in English. I've seen them at Eataly before, and I'm sure you can mail order too. They are likely obnoxiously expensive.

I like finger limes a lot. You can get them in one grocery store here, in which case they are pretty cheap. Otherwise, I think you have to order from Shanley Farms. They are out of season for the year, though.

My coarse efforts. Keep in mind I'm just a home cook and be kind.

Supposedly it had to do with the freshly made soy sauce they served (which was amazing and I very rarely use soy sauce becausse I'm not a fan mostly) , but I turned it into something sexual. I was allowed to take it home with me afterwards.

yup its a kind of a street food. hot tofu with sweet sauce. its sold by vendors who literally walk around with the ingredients and yell "TA-HOOOOOO" (usually in the morning for people going to work/school as a quick breakfast) or the afternoon (after school/work).

I remember walking around chinatown in 2009 and we walked by a Chinese street vendor selling it and he saw large Filipino group walking by and started yelling "tah-hooooo!" with a thick Chinese accent. of course they ended up buying it.

This is often the best part of a dinner party - before everybody stands up and goes to the living room. It's so much nicer to chat around the table. Bjorn

Specially a round table
