I don't remember if I did. Every time I go I get a bunch of dishes I didn't order and I really think it's like eating pond scum. There's this realistically earthy, mud like texture and flavor to everything. It is really god awful.
Haven't had the dish screw up happen. Agree with you about the "soil" stuff and some of the seafood plates end up looking a little egullet. I've had some very good dishes there, but then again, I also enjoy the Beverly Hills Bouchon.
Well, I meant the sprouts. The stuff in the cup looks like Hellmann's mayonnaise that was left in the sink overnight.
i know what you meant, and I appreciate the props (it's a delicious recipe), but hot taho is one of my Chinatown addictions. The white is basically soy something, tastes like a silky but weak tofu, and the liquid is a brown sugar (or maybe honey?) mixture. Strangely addictive for me. $1 on Mott street.
i don't know. From Canal, which I suppose is a good reference point, take a right on Mott, pass the next intersection, and it's a random window on the left. There's a sign that says "hot taho", and a drive through style window.
