If one satirical outburst on my end means I should be on medication, then half of the members on this forum forget to take theirs on a daily basis.

I was just complaining about the quality of the satire. And it was a mild complaint. Overall I thought it was not bad.

They were attractive when living. Your job (and the true respect) is to make them taste good and pair flavors well/construct a nice meal that makes sense without making them too ugly. Straw man is cooked with chicken in sealed casserole.

Go eat a carrot, or something.

Cool. Do you have different types of honey in production? Avocado, honey blossom, clover, etc..?

We only keep bees in one location thus one honey type is produced annually. Every other year it is a very light and floral basswood honey. In the odd years when basswood is not blooming, the bees forage whatever they can. This year (in the pic above) is some sort of wildflower blend. It was a long hard winter so gathering was late- the result is darker, spicier and more herbal in a way totally new to us.

We only pull about 20-30 gallons a year, most all of which goes to a friend's local restaurant.

It's beautiful!

MM is totally allowed to throw it back from time to time - he takes most of the (sometimes vicious) criticism he receives pretty well. He was bound to crack a little after a while.

This is getting way out of hand. I've talked to Max a number of times and while his affininity for women your wive's age is a little odd. :satisfied: I can't believe all the **** he's taking from "men" twice his age. I mean don't you have anything better to do then rag on some kid? I see the same **** happens in WAYWT...someone doesn't quite fall in line and gets harrasessed to no end.

dude thinks he puts out 4-star stuff, so why shouldn't he be subject to a higher level of critique by those who are, frankly, somewhat qualified to make such assessment? (thinking of those who have actually spent time in culinary school and/or the kitchen of fine restaurants such as KWilk, Matt, Manton, SField)

If he can pretend to be looking for advice people can "pretend" to give him some I suppose.

Whenever someone actually replies with something helpful his standard response is usually something like..."Well so and so said this was good and therefore it is..."

Mmm...ok?

If he would simply present his food without all of the bullshit he would seem more reasonable but I don't think anyone is going to give him a pass for being a pretentious douche that doesn't take criticism well. "Charm" will only get you so far. Eventually someone has to want to work with you and you have to pay attention.

I hope he isn't taking any of it too seriously because I don't believe anyone here or anywhere for that matter is losing a minute of sleep thinking about his scored mushrooms or unfortunate plating.
